103rd RAK – 10 Aug 2018; 9:13 am
- Food Town, Cypress North Houston and Huffmister. For this one I was siting in my car praying for success and getting the Prayer Book ready and my pen and paper ready. That was when I spotted a two woman about to walk in the store. As they approached the baskets, I could tell it was a mother and daughter. I was in my car with the windows rolled up, so I could not hear what was being said. But I could tell that this mother was asking her daughter if she was just going to walk by the cart that they were going to need. They were apparently shopping and needed a cart. I smiled because it reminded me of my mother saying “boy, you just gonna walk past that cart, and you know that we need one.” That’s how mothers talk to teenagers. It seems like a hundred years ago. But it was funny to see. When people don’t think anyone else is looking, they say funny things sometimes. Well I asked and prayed that it was them, that I was supposed to bless this day. Holy Spirit did not let me down. I met them in the vegetable aisle. The mother and I both laughed when I told her what I had just witnessed. I then asked the next question as to which church they attended. They were Janet Adams and her 17-year old daughter Ailani and they attend Providence Baptist Church under Rev Jerry Wade, Sr. They got my next two questions concerning believing in God and listening to Holy Spirit. I told them about my ministry to strengthen fellow Christians. People who are already on their own personal walk with Christ. I then delivered the $200 and the Book of Prayer that Our Father in Heaven told me to give them. They couldn’t believe that He sent me there to Bless them. We all praised His Holy Name because it is worthy to be praised.
