112th RAK – 23 Nov 2018; 6:30 pm
- Three times at Food Town trying to deliver this RAK. But the third time was the charmed one. That coupled with the fact that I had someone pray with me before I went in the store this time. See, I am a member of the Men’s Prayer Line Ministry. Our President is this gentleman named Harry Paige. He started this prayer line ministry 24-years ago; where he was following what he felt led by God to develop. Thank God that God saw my need to have constant prayer in my life. And He said, “Juan Zane Crawford is going to need all the constant prayer in his life that I can send his way.” To know that God, Our Father in Heaven, had me in mind when He led Harry 24-years ago to start the prayer line ministry. Praise His Holy Name. This prayer line has been one of the biggest Blessings God has Favored me with. We start Alter Call every morning at 4:30 am, with the prayer call starting at 5:00 am. And I thank God every day for this particular blessing. I thank Him for all the blessing that He has shown on my family and I. But this one gets special care and attention, because of how significant it has been in my journey. So over the phone, Harry Paige, The President of the Men’s Prayer Line Ministry prayed for my success in delivering this RAK. And in the store, I went. As I am turning down the last aisle almost back at the front of the store, not feeling led to ask anyone what church they attend. God led me to Curley and Shan Young. They attend Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. They got my next 2 questions concerning believing in God and listening to Holy Spirit. Of course, we know their answer was yes to both questions. That when I told them that I had been here twice earlier looking for them. In fact, that was my second time in Food Town today looking for them. But they were not there. Praise His Holy Name. Shan told how she was recently released from the hospital and their children were home waiting for their return. We joked about the big bag of Cheetos sitting in their cart. I prayed for them and gave them the Book of Prayer, God told me to give them. They were in disbelief, they never heard of God sending people like this. That is until now. Man, do I love this ministry. Ain’t He the best Father a growing boy such as myself could ever have. I want to be 94-years old and be able to tell people in the last year of my life (since I was 93-years old) I’ve grown CLOSER and CLOSER to God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
