130th RAK – 30 Apr 2019; 9:37 pm.
- This time at Food Town the corner of Huffmister and Cypress North Houston, Holy Spirit was working on me. He put in my heart to do a RAK this day. However, after running here and running there, across Houston, I was unable to free up time to do it. But it was burning in my heart to do it. Tonight was just as busy, the class I taught that evening at Houston Community College was scheduled to go from 6:00 to 9:50pm. But we finished early, way to go Holy Spirit. So, after driving all the way back home and sitting in my driveway, it was 9:20 and my long day was done. Or so I thought. But the delivery of this RAK kept burning in my heart. So, I started my car back up and drove to Food Town to meet this person Holy Spirit really wanted Blessed that day. I pulled up to the door, got my money envelope, got my Prayer Book and headed in the store. All the way around the store, almost back at the front door, before I spotted a young lady with her child. I introduced myself and asked what church she attended. Her name was Lakeysha Summers and her 3-year old daughter Navaeh. She attends Divine Promise Ministries, under Pastor Charles Rhodes. She told how she receives WIC and since today was the last day of April, she still had a few extra funds available to use or loose. She had already been to the store this day, but Holy Spirit led her back. She had just come from bible study at her church. She said she was in bible study when she felt Holy Spirit tell her to check and make sure she did leave funds on the table. To get up and go back to Food Town. And to think that he sent me there at that very time. We both praised His Holy Name. Look at God.
