- Walmart on Spring Cypress and 249. Before I could get back in the car, the Holy Spirit whispered in my ear “Don’t you need to go to the restroom before you hit the road again.” So, I thought to myself, “Gee, I better go to the restroom before leaving the store because I have to hit the road again.” Once I walked in the restroom, I saw a young guy bathing in the sink right there in the restroom at Walmart. I spoke to him and told him to have a blessed day. He asked me what branch of the military I was in. I asked him how he knew I was in the military. He said that he had been in there for over 2 hours and of all the people who walk in and hurried out the restroom only myself and one other person spoke to him. I asked him, his name. He said it was John and he was former Marine. The other person was also in the military, so he knew I was in the military as well. I introduced myself and I told him United States Air Force. He began to tell me how he wound up in a Walmart bathing in the sink. And how he had recently been discharged after risking his life in Afghanistan. By now, security had been called. I stepped in and told the officer that the solider was just finishing and to give us 2 minutes and we would be through. As he finished I felt the Holy Spirit saying that was why he sent me to this Walmart. This is why He sent me in the restroom that morning. I said under my breath “Thank you Holy Spirit.” Once we were out in the parking lot. He began to tell me how he was agnostic because he hadn’t seen God. I told he, “Well this day, you are about to see God.” I pulled out $200 and handed it to him. He couldn’t believe it. I told him that was what God look like…helping the less fortunate. I was helping by being obedient to the Holy Spirit. Praise God.
