49th RAK – Marilyn Hoosier

• Food Town, Huffmister and Cypress North Houston. I won’t ask you to go back and re-read the 35^th RAK from 1 Aug 2016. I will give you the synopsis. I met Terry Jenkins from Monroe, Louisiana, she attends Champion Community Church, under Pastor Steve Austin. I prayed and I asked and I felt Holy Spirit telling me to give her the $200 RAK. I told her call everyone she knew and tell them what God did for her that day.  About 2 hours later, I get a call from a dear friend Marilyn Hoosier.  She is someone I have known for the past 7 years.  She is also an Agent under our brokerage Leak Properties, LLC. It seems one of the people Terry called, was Marilyn.  She told Marilyn the story about what she just experienced.  She just did not remember my name; she could describe me to Marilyn.  And when Marilyn heard that the strange man with a cane, handed her friend $200, told her that it was a random act of kindness and then left as quickly as he arrived, Marilyn knew it was me.  So, she called me to ask if it was me. I told her yes.  I told her what I felt God put in my heart concerning my Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs).  I told her about the website and I asked her to pray for my discernment regarding this project God laid in my lap.  She told me that you wanted to give me $200 to do RAK in her name.  I agreed and she came over my house to accompany me when I did my 49^th  We prayed, left the house, and headed to Food Town. The store is about 5 minutes from my house.  We pulled up in the parking lot and realized the $200 for this RAK was left on my kitchen table.  So, we turned around and when back to my house.  By the time we made it back to Food Town, it was clearly 15 minutes later than we were there the first time. This means that the person, family, or cause that Holy Spirit sent me there for…they were not there. This time, we were in the store about 3 minutes and Marilyn and I came across Derrick Williams and his mother Dorthey. They attend the 5^th Ward Baptist Church. This was their first trip out since her cancer treatment yesterday.  We prayer over them and expressed how Our Father in Heaven is calling their name.  I explained how simple it would have been for Holy Spirit to say “Don’t forget the money” before we left the house. But then we would have been there 15 minutes before they were there. God is good All the Time…and All the Time God is good!!
