62nd RAK – Cathedral of Truth Church

62nd RAK – 24 Apr 2017; 12:02 pm

  • Food Town, Huffmister and Cypress North Houston. Man, I love doing this job God has me doing right now.  Some of my friends and family think I am crazy and I could have used this $12,400 differently.  If people truly knew how good it feels to help people, more people would do it.  I never knew that obedience felt so good.  This RAK was neither too short nor too long, it was just right.  I felt Holy Spirit directing me there, but once I was there, I felt led to no one.  I saw an older woman by the milk and butter aisle, but she was on the phone.  And it did not sound as if the call was ending anytime soon.  So, I kept looking.  I made my usual loop around the store and was back by the front door in 4-minutes.  I walked out and just stood there for a few minutes to see why I felt just a strong urge to be a blessing to someone there today.  Not 30-seconds later, one of the Food Town tellers came up to me and asked if I am the man who prays for people.  That caught me totally off guard.  Of course my reply was “Well, yes I am” (not sure where this was going).  Out of the clear blue sky, she asked me to pray for her and her family, that her family was going through something right now. I was honored and blown away at the same time.  So we prayed right in front of the store. As soon as we finished she went back to her cash register. I was thinking “Wow, Holy Spirit…really??”  As soon as she left, I saw a man walking up to the store.  I couldn’t help but notice the large cross he wore around his neck.  I introduced myself; he was Randolph Brown, Deacon at Cathedral of Truth Church.  I asked my next 2 standard questions that I already know the answer to.  I asked him if he believed in God and if he believed in Holy Spirit.  Of course his answer was yes to both.  That when I told him what Holy Spirit sent me there to do.  I handed him $200, and said it was from God. He was blown away and asked if the money was real.  I told him that it was and to call everyone he knew and tell them what God did for him that day.  He promised that he would.  Praise God!!!
