41th RAK – Church Without Walls

41^th RAK – 16 Sept 2016; 12:30 pm

• Food Town, Huffmister and Cypress North Houston…my favorite spot. For this store to be about 10 miles from The Church Without Walls, plus on the other side of a major freeway, you would not think I would run in to this many people from that church that I don’t recognize and that don’t recognize me either. Oh well, I guess that is what the Holy Spirit is for.  Praise the Lord.  This was another scary one.  As I walked down the vegetable isle, I asked the Holy Spirit if it was this person picking broccoli.  The response I received was “Not them”. So I walked a little further in the store when I spotted this lady down the frozen food isle.  I asked and He said “Yes, it’s her”. I walked up and introduced myself and asked the $200-dollar question. She said The Church Without Walls, Pastor Ralph West.  I began to smile, thinking to myself “Come on God…really??” When I explained who I was and how important it was to listen to the Holy Spirit and what I was there to do.  Her name was Gloria Spinks and her response blew me away.  She told how she was in desperate need of cataract surgery and had been putting it off because she could not afford the co-pay.  How her doctors told her that she couldn’t put this off too much longer.  She said how she asked her whole family and everyone she knew.  And how no one had the extra $200 she needed for the co-pay. She said she just keep praying that she would get it before it was too late.  Then my happy-go-lucky behind waltz into her life at the grocery store to give her $200 and to tell her it was from the Holy Spirit. That ain’t nothing but God, showing up and showing out.  Praise His Holy Name.
