- Food Town, Huffmister and Cypress North Houston. I love this spot, for I can hear Holy Spirit clearly there. I was there as I was on my way to Covenant Academy where my son attends school. I thought (Holy Spirit led) that I would swing by Food Town to do a RAK before picking up my son that day. This was a quick one, to say the least. I was in the store about 30 seconds when I spotted a gentleman pushing the cart as his wife led. I remember those days so I laughed. I joked with him that he’d better hurry up and keep up with his wife. He said “Ain’t that the truth”. When he caught up with her, I introduced myself and asked the $200 dollar question. They were Kenneth and Gwendolyn Ford. Their reply was New Light Church, under Bishop Hillard. I told them that I was not familiar with that church. I told them that I was going to ask them a question that I already knew their answer to. I ask them if they believed in God. Of course they said “Yes”. I then asked them if they believed in Holy Spirit. And once again, of course they said “Yes”. I told them that was good because the same Holy Spirit that they believe in, sent me there to give them this $200. They couldn’t believe it. We then praised His Holy Name and gave thanks. I told them thanks for helping me be obedient to the Holy Spirit and to have a fantastic day. Praise His Holy Name.
