Food Town, Cypress North Houston and Huffmister, once again prayed to the Holy Spirit for His guidance. I walked in as I normally do. I’m really getting better and quicker at this. I can make a loop around the store in 3 minutes. I felt lead to no one. So I exited the store and walked down the shopping area to The Dollar Tree, after about 3 minutes in there, I felt lead to no one. I said to myself maybe there are not here today. Before heading back to my car, I tried Food Town one more time. This time they were there. Her name was Evelyn Shelton, she attends Northside Antioch Baptist Church. I explained who I was and what I was there for. She smiled and said she couldn’t believe it. Just today, she had given all she could to help a flood victim who did not have flood insurance. (go figure…sounds like me and my family). She stated how God is working on her to accept gifts like this one. Previously, she would have rejected them. But now, she is trying harder to listen to God and accept when He put people in her life to help her. Praise the Lord.
