132nd RAK – Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in the House – AZ5!

132nd RAK – 14 May 2019; 12:47 12:15 pm – AZ5.

  • Not back at Food Town this time.  Praise His Holy Name.  I will praise Him, praise Him, then praise Him once again. This RAK took place as I left a board meeting for the Houston Black Real Estate Association.  Holy Spirit was tugging on my heart to do a RAK today.  I was about 30 miles from Food Town and I felt Him tell me to do a RAK on this side of Houston today.  I must always work on being obedient…it is not as easy as it sounds.  Because I did not want to do a RAK on this side of town, I wanted to go back to Food Town and do my RAK.  But, that was not where He was leading me this day.  So, in my obedience, I listened to Him.  The board meeting is on the corner of Chimney Rock and West Bellfort.  There was a .99 cent store right across from our meeting.  I walked in to the store looking for the family or person He wanted me to Bless that day.  I saw these 2 ladies and I started to introduce myself, but I left my business cards in my car.  These RAKs go a lot smoother when I can hand someone my business card as I introduce myself.  I feel it gives more legitimacy to this strange man walking up to you asking what church you attend.  So, I went back out to my car to get my business card.  By the time I returned, they were headed out of the store. I took that to mean that, that was not who He was sending me to this day.  Once back in the store, I walked to the left instead of to the right this time.  I spotted a mother and her 2 children walking down the aisle.  I walked up and introduced myself, handed her my business card and asked what church she attended.  Her name was Ruby Johnson, she attends Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, under Kenneth Isaacs.  Of course, she got my next 2 standard questions concerning God and Holy Spirit.  She said “yes, it is important to listen to Holy Spirit.”  That’s when I told her just what Holy Spirit sent me there to do.  Her children were Kylie age 7 and Saniyah 11 months.  They were very cute.  She told how there was a great need in her house for these funds and how much this was a Blessing.  I told her that God saw “now”, the day before she got here.  That day, He knew He would send me to deliver it and He would send her there to accept it.  Praise His Holy Name.
