17th RAK – I really don’t need it…please find someone else to Bless.

17th RAK – 9 Jun 2016; 4:10 pm

  • Back at Food Town. This time, as I pulled up, I was talking on the phone to Harry Paige.  He is one of my worship brothers on the Men’s Prayer call every morning at 5:00 am.  To talk about prayer…this is a praying brother!!! I was sitting in the car and about to get out.  I had my driver side door open.  As I did, there was a car trying to pull into the parking spot right next to me.  I apologized and shut my door.  When the driver got out, he was a very nice elderly man named Larry.  So I thought to myself, that I would sow my 17th RAK there (that’s what I’m calling it now…sowing this RAK into God’s Kingdom).  I told him who I was, ask him the million-dollar question, about what church he attended, and why God sent me there.  He went on to tell me that he was 86 years old, lost his wife 3 years ago. He told me that there had to be someone in the store in worse financial trouble than him.  We prayed together and I went in the store to find them.  After about 3 minutes I ran across Elizabeth Knowles.  The interesting thing is Larry helped me better explain to her why I was there and how important it is to listen to God.  He and I did the RAK together.  Not only did I show Elizabeth what God looks like down here on earth…but I got to show Larry as well.  Praise be to God.
