120th RAK – 20 Feb 2019; 7:55 pm.
- The only reason I tell readers where I am when I do my RAKs, is in case I move locations. But, not today (-; Back at Food Town corner of Huffmister and Cypress North Houston. I was just coming back from teaching this evening. As I have said before, I teach real estate at Houston Community College. Teaching is one of my gifts from God. Bless His Holy Name. So, I stopped in Food Town on my way home. It had been a long day, but I felt led to do a RAK tonight. So, I eagerly got out of my car to search for the person I was supposed to bless this evening. After 1 lap around Food Town, I felt led to no one. But, instead of heading out of the store, I decided to do one more lap. This time, I saw and mother and her son coming into the store. The little boy appeared to be close to the same age of my son. I walked up to them and introduced myself. She was Roshaunda McDade and her 8-year old son, Jaiden. When I asked what church, they attend. She told me Solid Rock Church, under Pastor Roper. I smile so big when people tell me what church the attend, instead of saying they don’t attend church or why are you asking what church I attend? I then showed her what Holy Spirit sent me there to do. She couldn’t believe it (they never can). But, we praised Him all the same. She told how she was just catching a cold. I gave her the Prayer Book and prayed that He strengthen her resolve and her health. I then told her to call everyone she knew, to tell them what God did for her this day. Man, do I love this ministry He gave me!!
