Hello friends, 11 houses in my subdivision with water damage. Like me, 70% of the flood victors (Joel Osteen says we are victors not victims), we did not have flood insurance.
But All Glory to God. This was no surprise to Him, and He told me that I am always covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ. God has been there with us throughout this whole process. He has been moving this, moving that, directing me here, sending these people, protecting me from thieves; just doing everything. There is a specific Blessing tied to me not having flood insurance. Because we did not have flood insurance, my darling wife spent 90 minutes on the phone with FEMA. Bless her heart; she was then able to brief all our other neighbors to start their process, ahead of all others who did not have this information. Then “IT” happened…After 5 days and countless hours trying to dig our way out of this with His help……He showed up and showed out Saturday!!!
If we had flood insurance we would have never asked for help digging out. We had 40 people show up are out house between 11:00 and 8:00 to help us, if for no other reason than…He put it in their heart to come and help me and my family. Praise God, at 8:00 we finally had to tell a family to go home. The father of one of Korbin’s classmates came with himself, his wife and their 3 kids. The got there about 1:00 and were still working at 8:00. Everybody else had left 30 minutes earlier. ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD. There were about 12 people from Korbin’s school and 28 brothers from The Church Without Walls, Men’s Ministry. Oh my God. But the best part is that it wasn’t all for me. Think about just how many other people saw God there as well. Even my neighbors who weren’t even at my house, they still saw 40 people show up. And it was obvious that no one was getting paid. They had to think to themselves “Oh my God, where did all these people come from.” The reason I know this is because they asked me all day Sunday. Went I told them who everybody was and where they had come from, they were amazed. Now, think about all the people they will tell. All Praise, Honor, and Glory be to God.
